NCSLA Membership:

Any individual surplus lines licensee (resident or non-resident) will automatically become a member when they receive or renew their NC surplus lines license. Therefore, membership registration with the NCSLA is no longer be required.

The NCSLA Board of Directors made the decision to eliminate the NCSLA membership dues starting with the 2021-2022 membership year.

All North Carolina surplus lines licensees (resident and non-resident) must join the NCSLA to retain a surplus lines license and allow access to the SLIP filing system.

Voting Member

A person, firm or corporation holding a North Carolina surplus lines license and residing within the State of North Carolina.

Non-Voting Member

A person, firm or corporation holding a North Carolina surplus lines license and residing outside of the State of North Carolina.

Associate Member

Any person, firm or corporation not holding a North Carolina surplus lines license but expressing an interest in, and support of, the goals and programs of the Association.
